KarakCrew is for making friends through real plans. These rules keep it friendly and keep it lawful in the UAE. Breaking them can lead to a warning, a suspension or a permanent ban, depending on how serious it is.

☕What this is for

Friendship and shared activities. This is not a dating or hookup app, and flirting with or pursuing people who came to make friends is not welcome.
You must be 18 or older. Never bring anyone under 18 to a plan, and never share photos or details of minors.
Be yourself: use your real first name or nickname, your real age and your real gender.
Photos must be of you, with your face clearly visible in your main photo, so people can recognise you when you meet. No photos of other people, celebrities, children, cartoons or AI-generated faces.

💛How we treat each other

Be kind. No harassment, bullying, threats or pressure of any kind.
No hate or insults about anyone's nationality, religion, race, gender, disability or background.
Respect religion, culture and local customs, including during Ramadan.
No sexual, explicit or vulgar content, anywhere on the app, including in private messages.
A friend request is a question, not a demand. If someone doesn't accept, leave it there.
In Cosy Corner plans, follow the cosy manners: don't ask people about diagnoses, let quiet people be quiet, and keep the promises the plan made.
Do not post photos of other people, or share their personal details, without their consent.

📍Plans and meetups

Meet in public places only: cafés, malls, parks, courts, beaches. No private homes or hotel rooms.
Hosts must give an accurate time, place and group size, and tell the group quickly if anything changes.
Plans must follow UAE law and the rules of the venue and the emirate you are in.
Each plan says who pays: everyone for themselves, the host for the group, or nobody because it is free. Any cost is paid to the venue directly. Do not sell tickets, charge a joining fee or collect money from other members.
If a plan says the host pays or that it is free, the host must honour it. Hosts who go back on it can be suspended.
Plans must not be about alcohol and must not promote it. Drugs, gambling and anything illegal are banned outright.
If you can't make it, leave the plan in the app. Repeated no-shows and last-minute cancellations can lead to suspension.

🚫Not allowed

Spam, advertising, recruiting, MLM, or promoting a business or service.
Asking for money, donations, loans or investments.
Political campaigning or organising.
Fake profiles, impersonation, bots or scraping.
Getting around a ban with a new account.

🚩Reporting and appeals

Use Report on any profile or plan. Reports are confidential: the other person is not told who reported them.
For anything else, message the KarakCrew Team from the Me page (Talk to the team). It opens a private chat with us.
Use Block to stop seeing someone. They will not see you either, and any friendship and private chat between you ends.
If we act on your account and you think we got it wrong, email hello@karakcrew.com and a person will review it.
In an emergency call 999 (police) or 998 (ambulance).
